Best time to visit new york
New York is, obviously, a year-round destination, but some times of the year are usually more enjoyable than others.
Spring and Autumn are the best seasons to visit because the changing of the city’s colors is gorgeous to see, and the temperatures are milder.
Still, every season in New York has its own unique characteristics and makes for an unforgettable experience.
Winter: Visiting NYC in winter is perfect for activities such as ice skating in Central Park, admiring Christmas-themed decorations, and even seeing the massive tree at Rockefeller Center.
Spring: Spring is a great time to enjoy nature in NYC. It is when the flowers are starting to bloom again, and everybody starts going out more.
Summer: With great temperatures, summer in the city is an exceptional experience. Make sure to put your walking sandals on and explore the city in the enjoyable weather.
Fall: Last but not least, Autumn is the calmest season to visit New York City. It is the time when the city’s pace starts to slow down, and Central Park gets unbelievably beautiful with all the leaves starting to turn orange.

Last but not least, I have gathered some interesting travel tips that will make your trip much easier and safer.
The more you know, the better!

- The Bronx Zoo is free on wednesdays

How to get around New York
There are many ways to get around New York City.
My favorite is by far walking, but depending on the weather and where you are staying, you might opt for biking, taking the subway, taking a cab, or even the bus.
Walking: If you are staying in the Manhattan area and the weather is nice, go for it! If you are not in a rush, that is.
Subway: The best way to quickly get around the city. The NYC subway system is one of the best in the world and runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Riding a bike: For exploring Central Park and other beautiful locations.
Bus: Public buses are a great way to get around and experience New York like a local. All buses accept the MetroCard.
Taxi and Uber: Save the expensive taxi rides for when it’s really late or you are feeling exhausted.
