Sitka, known for its charming harbor and scenic beauty, is also blessed with a moderate year-round climate, with average temperatures ranging from 48 degrees Fahrenheit in January to 64 degrees Fahrenheit in July.
Visiting Sitka is definitely worth considering if you plan on exploring the outer coast of Alaska’s Inside Passage.

Personally, I would recommend heading to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park & Preserve and Denali National Park, since the nice weather makes them way easier to explore.
Barrow, the northernmost point in Alaska, is also an epic place to visit during summer.
